Space Medicine Ireland is delighted to announce a new bursary open to undergraduates with an interest in aerospace medicine to support their first steps in the field.
It has been established to promote awareness and engagement in space medicine.
Entries should have a maximum of 1500 words and submitted to info@spacemedireland.com by the deadline of November 30th, 2021.
This year’s essay competition title is ‘Space tourism: the challenges for medical doctors certifying increasing numbers of space tourists for flight.’
The first €500 bursary will be awarded at Space Medicine Ireland’s 2021 virtual conference where the winner will be invited to present their essay.
Participants should ensure they are available to present their essay at the virtual conference December 10th, 2021 at 18.00 Irish time.
Entries should be 1500 words or less, sent as a Word document to info@spacemedireland.com
